Jane Bradfield

Jane has had extensive experience in both public sector and community management, and has held senior management positions in several government departments. She has also held the position of Ministerial Policy Adviser to the NSW Minister for Youth and Community Services, Housing and Aboriginal Affairs.

For more than a decade, Jane worked as a consultant and researcher to the community and public sectors undertaking various research projects related to needs analysis, program and social policy development and quality management applications for the community sector. She has presented papers in the areas of governance and good practice. Jane has developed resources and workshops in a broad range of areas relating to organisational development, capacity building, community management structures and practices, strategic reviews, planning and client focused service provision.

Jane has held positions of lecturer and tutor at the University of Queensland and University of Technology, Queensland in Sociology, University of NSW in health administration, and the University of Technology, Sydney in the area of Community Management, and as Manager of the Centre for Australian Community Organisations and Management (CACOM). For a number of years, Jane held a position adjunct faculty lecturer at the University of Technology lecturing in the Bachelor of Community Management and Diploma in Community Organisations (UTS).

Jane is a graduate in Sociology from the University of Queensland and has undertaken post graduate studies at the Universities of Queensland and NSW.
